You are not alone. Center for Survivors serves victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.
We believe that the intentional use of physical, emotional/verbal, and sexual abuse for the purpose of power and control is a public health concern that is one of the most common, yet least reported crimes in America. Domestic/dating and sexual abuse affect millions of individuals regardless of race, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, educational level, religious belief, or sexual orientation.
Center for Survivors is a non-profit organization located in Columbus, Nebraska that is committed to serving all victims of abuse. The Center serves and has satellite locations in six counties in Nebraska, including Boone, Butler, Colfax, Nance, Platte, and Polk. Our mission is to advocate for non-violence through intervention, education, and prevention in order to create a safe environment for all individuals, families, and communities.
What We Offer
All of our services are victim-centered, and we strive to meet victims where they are. While some victims are ready to leave their abusive situations, others request support and safety planning. The Center for Survivors provides a variety of free and confidential services for the purpose of empowering you to make your own choices. We provide services to adults and children regardless of sex/gender utilizing an empathetic and trauma-informed approach.
We are here to listen, support and empower whenever you’re ready.
